A green cocoon in the heart of the Loire Valley Châteaux

We are delighted to welcome you to a 100m2 independent house located on our wooded family property, listed as a Historic Monument since 1947.

We are located in the heart of the city, close to the center of Tours with its museums, its opera, its shops, its guinguettes (15 minutes by tram), the Cher and the Loire by bike (a few pedal strokes) and the castles.... Our fully equipped gîte accommodates up to 6 people.

In the summer season (June to September), the rental gives shared access to the property's swimming pool.

Rental is with a minimum of 2 nights during school holiday periods and long weekends.

20 artistic, scientific & festive stopovers

The Great Loire River Ride returns in September 2025

After a successful 2023 edition, the boats are setting off again to conquer the river for a 24-day journey from September 1 to 23, interspersed with stopovers and festive events.

Created from an idea by the Loire boatmen and women, La Grande Remontée de la Loire returns for a second edition that aims to be festive, artistic, and scientific. From Saint-Nazaire to Orléans, the Loire sailors will sail up the Loire in a flotilla for 350 kilometers, ending their journey at the Loire Festival.

Before arriving at the destination, 20 stopovers are planned on dry land, in order to share Loire nautical knowledge with the general public, during events open to all in Angers, Montsoreau, Tours, Blois, Baule and Orléans. On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the inscription of the French gastronomic meal in UNESCO, 150 guests (by registration) will share a meal with the crews stopping over on the quays of Montsoreau, on September 10 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

This year, artists and scientists will take part in the adventure to inform and raise awareness about the importance of preserving our river ecosystem. In total, more than 25 boats will take part in this journey initiated by the La Rabouilleuse-École de Loire association, in collaboration with the Mission Val de Loire and with the support of the Centre-Val de Loire region.

With 140 winegrowers, 9 chefs and artisans from the Loire Valley food industry, and nearly 40,000 visitors, Vitiloire is the unmissable event in the Centre-Val de Loire region for Loire Valley wines and gastronomy.

This friendly event in the heart of the city, which has become the spokesperson for a know-how, offers a wealth of culture, heritage and gastronomy.
